Vehicles & Equipment
  • Focus on Toyota SUVs, primarily the Hilux (2.4 turbodiesel automatic; also 2.8 turbodiesel automatic)
  • Planned for the future: Toyota Fortuner (SUV/Station Wagon)
  • Vehicles are offered in standard or camping versions; all vehicles come with basic equipment, while the camping version offers a complete package that can be customized upon request (additional options or omission of individual parts).

Consultation & Handover Process

Many customers are repeat customers and know exactly what they need. First-time visitors receive comprehensive advice at vehicle handover (options, usage, and tips tailored to their experience level). 

Rental requirements & documents
  • Photo ID required
  • Minimum driver age: 23 years (generally regardless of driving experience; exceptions only in individual cases)
  • Valid national driver's license;
  • International driving license strongly recommended, especially when crossing borders
  • Additional driver: no extra charge

Border crossings & formalities
  • Border crossings included, no extra costs
  • "Police clearance" (proof from the police that the vehicle is not stolen) is required for most neighboring countries, except Botswana and South Africa

Insurance (basic principles & exclusions)

Standard insurance included in the daily rate, with a deductible. Optional deductible reduction for an additional fee Exclusive option with a very low deductible and extended coverage, but not "fully comprehensive" in the European sense (comprehensive with exclusions) Typical exclusions: underbody damage, negligent driving, water damage

Price range (vehicle rental)

Standard vehicle: from approx. N$1,800 per day Fully equipped campervan (4-5 people): up to approx. N$2,100 per day in peak season

Transfers & additional services
  • Airport transfers in both directions included, even with different arrival times (multiple transfers possible)
  • Transfers within the country by arrangement; shuttles can be organized if needed  
  • Accessibility: 24/7 telephone support
  • Vehicles in excellent technical condition, regularly maintained according to manufacturer specifications Maintenance exclusively at authorized Toyota service centers 

Optional "Travel/Lodge Support"

Full tour planning is not currently offered as a standard service; assistance with bookings (especially lodge-oriented) is generally possible for an additional charge or based on the effort involved.
